TCA Welcomes Dick Babb to board of directors
With over 38 years of experience in lending and treasury management, primarily in the large corporate banking sector, Dick brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to the table. His career started in 1981 with Republic Bank Dallas, and he has since held various positions of increasing responsibility.
Before retirement, Dick was the Executive Vice President and Member of the Executive Management Team at BBVA USA. He led the Treasury Management Team, overseeing a wide range of functions such as sales, product management, technology fulfillment, client services, and more. This encompassed corporate, mid-corp, and community markets across the U.S., generating substantial annual income.
Dick holds a BA in Finance from Texas Tech University and has been recognized as an expert in his field. As a keynote speaker at numerous corporate treasury conferences, he has had the opportunity to share insights and best practices with industry professionals.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, he served as the Treasurer on the board of the Turtle Creek Conservancy. This experience has given him a deep appreciation for the importance of preserving, protecting, and enhancing Turtle Creek.
He currently resides in the Turtle Creek corridor, which further strengthens his commitment to the cause.
