TCA Announces Capstone project
The Turtle Creek Association is delighted to announce that the University of Texas at Dallas (UT-Dallas) has accepted our proposal for their upcoming Fall 2023 Capstone Class. This collaboration presents an excellent opportunity to further our mission and make a lasting impact on the ecosystem of Turtle Creek.
The focus of the project will be multifaceted, aiming to enhance our organization in several key areas:
Growing our Donor Base: The Capstone Class will develop strategies to expand our donor base, ensuring the financial sustainability of the Turtle Creek Association. Their fresh perspective and innovative thinking will help us connect with new supporters who share our passion for preserving and enhancing the Turtle Creek area.
Identifying Grants, Foundations, and Programs: The UT-Dallas graduate students will thoroughly research and identify local, state, and federal grants, foundations, and programs that align with our mission.
Building Partnerships: The Capstone Class will explore opportunities for collaboration and partnership with other nonprofits and organizations. By forging strong alliances, we can amplify our impact, share resources, and work together towards a common goal of protecting and enhancing the Turtle Creek area.
Board Engagement: The UT-Dallas graduate students will also focus on enhancing board engagement within our organization. They will develop strategies and recommendations to strengthen our board's involvement, ensuring they are equipped to provide valuable guidance and support in achieving our mission.
This partnership with UT-Dallas represents a significant milestone for the Turtle Creek Association. We are confident that the knowledge, dedication, and modern approach of the Capstone Class will empower us to drive positive change and make a lasting impact on the Turtle Creek ecosystem.
